Tinton Falls, NJ (PRWEB) February 26, 2008 -- East Coast Power Systems has finalized the design of its new state-of-the-art corporate headquarters and manufacturing plant in Tinton Falls, NJ.

The company, based in Keyport, NJ since 1986, will shortly break ground on a custom-designed 120,000 square foot building that will house its corporate offices and an expanded manufacturing and warehouse facility.

According to East Coast Power Systems President Salvatore J. Rinaldi Jr., the new site will allow the company to sustain the double-digit sales growth it has achieved over the past few years, and allow for further expansion in the future.

Says Rinaldi, "By expanding our office and production facilities from 16,000 square feet to nearly 10 times that amount, we'll be able to significantly extend the company's in-house manufacturing capabilities, giving us more scheduling flexibility, quality control, and the ability to meet tight deadlines better than ever before."

The company's expanded capabilities will include the in-house manufacturing of custom stainless steel -- in especially high demand for pharmaceutical components -- plus a critical power equipment product line and medium voltage offering. East Coast Power Systems will also have a full-service powder coat painting system on the new premises.

More unique features are planned for the new location to increase East Coast's responsiveness to its customers. It will include an automated, self-serve inventory system that will give customers 24/7 access to parts on demand, and an expanded storage and drop-ship program for national accounts.

According to Rinaldi, the company's production facilities are scheduled to be fully operational in the new Tinton Falls location this April, with office staff to follow in October.

Now in its 25th year, East Coast Power Systems was founded in 1983 as East Coast Panelboard, a specialty and quick-ship manufacturing plant for panelboards and switchgear. The company's three divisions -- East Coast Panelboard, East Coast Control & Automation and East Coast Power Services (http://www.ecpowersystems.com/ecps.php) -- now provide the nation's largest electrical distributors with a variety of stock and custom components, including panelboards (http://www.ecpowersystems.com/ecp.php), utility cabinets (http://www.ecpowersystems.com/ecp.php?p=utilitycabinets), switchboards (http://www.ecpowersystems.com/ecp.php?p=switchboards), switchgear, cell towers, ground bars, circuit breakers, transfer switches, cam-locks, custom industrial control panels, motor control centers, and EPO.

How a Paint Manufacturer Significantly Reduced Their Product Loss -- a Real World Documented Case Study
Latex paints and stain manufacturer -- PPG Architectural Finishes of Louisville, Kentucky -- knew its filling operation was overly complicated, noisy, and required far too much operator attention. More importantly, PPG experienced an unacceptable percentage of product loss in the filtering process. PPG replaced their vibrating screen, accumulating vessel, and diaphragm pump with a Ronningen-Petter DCF-800 self-cleaning filter, greatly reducing product waste, operator involvement, and line noise levels.
